It's President's Day, which, when I was still a banker, meant an idyllic day at home with the kids. Now? Not so much. The kids, in fact, got to come to work with me today. In the interest of sharing my life with them, I give you today's guest blogger, nine-year-old Susie.

Hi internets! I am at work with mommy. I counted a whole lot of money, I don't know how much it was but it was a lot, more than $1000!!! I ate Lucky Charms for breakfast (for once). My brother had Corn Pops (bla gross!!), he also had pancakes and sausage, I'm a vegetarian. I don't like pancakes. Here is my mommy again!!!

Okay, Internets. Here's a brief update. The heat is fixed. Although it's not under warranty, the man who originally installed it came to look on Friday and found a manufacturer's defect, which means he's fixing it for free! Woot! Of course, the heat is fixed just in time for this weather forecast:
