Public service announcement

If you live in Tennessee and read this before Sunday, April 29, you can thank me later.

As of 12:01 a.m. Friday, April 27, we're having a sales tax holiday. Click here for more information. Great time to buy clothes, new computers, or school supplies.

Which means my favorite place on earth, Target, will be mobbed all weekend. Daunted? No way. My kids have grown so flipping much this year that I'd probably even join in a catfight if there was a supply issue with size 12 boys' pants. Because we keep telling him that capris aren't cute on guys.

Sharpening elbows.

Yeah, Emerson wore a pair of "capris" to school today. But 6 yr olds can get away with it for a while.

...can't they?

Have fun storming the castle!

I just googled "Steve and Barry's" to see if there's one in Tennessee. There is, in Antioch. If you're ever near, GO THERE. It is a Mecca for clothes for kids. (It's also where they sell the famous $15 Starbury shoes.)

So did you buy loads of new clothes for your growing not-so-littles? :) I had intended to, but ended up working around the house instead. All in all, not a bad thing though!

The haul: shorts and shirt for shrinking husband, shorts, pants, and shirt for boy, and capris, 2 shirts, and shorts for the girl. I'm impressed that I didn't even pause to look at clothes for me.
